SCREENER/PROGRAMMER INTERN
Responsibilities:
As a Programmer intern, you will gain invaluable experience in programming for a film festival. Interns will assist with reviewing and screening submissions from eight categories (Feature Narrative, Short Narrative, Feature Documentary, Short Documentary, Screenplays, Animation, ADs, and Music Video ) with all aspects of the programming process. College credit is offered upon successful completion of the internship and a 2024 festival pass (virtual and in-person pass).

Include screening submissions and providing film evaluation via FilmFreeway.

Collaborate with the programming team to review and evaluate film submissions.

Watch and analyze assigned films based on predetermined criteria and guidelines.

Provide constructive feedback and ratings for each film.

Participate in team discussions and contribute selection process Strong knowledge of and interest in film and media. Good writing and communication skills.
Qualifications:

Strong knowledge and passion for cinema across various genres and styles.

GRAPHIC DESIGN
Responsibilities:
ITWIFF is seeking a passionate and creative Graphic Design Intern to join our team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in graphic design within the vibrant world of film and media while supporting the mission of promoting women in the industry.
Responsibilities:

Designing promotional materials for ITWIFF events, including posters, flyers, social media graphics, and digital advertisements.

Assisting with the creation of visual assets for the ITWIFF website and social media channels.

Collaborating with the marketing team to develop innovative and engaging design concepts.
-
Contributing to the maintenance of brand consistency across all marketing materials.
-
Supporting other design-related tasks and projects as needed.
Qualifications:

Current enrollment in or recent graduate from a graphic design or related program.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

Strong design portfolio demonstrating creativity, attention to detail, and ability to convey a message visually.

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

Passion for film, media, and promoting diversity and inclusion in the industry.

Availability to commit to the internship for 3 months.

FILM BLOGGER/CONTENT WRITER INTERN
Responsibilities:
The Film Blogger/Content Writer Intern will have the opportunity to write and produce various types of shareable and SEO-driven content. Film blogger intern is responsible for covering the industry and the independent film community.

Write blog posts relevant to our community within the film industry

Create blog posts about independent film announcements, film reviews, and film news updates.

Conduct interviews with independent actors, filmmakers, and film studios

Submit two-three articles per week:
Qualifications:

Passionate about learning; enthusiastic about film culture, film festivals, lifestyle, entertainment, and women in film

Reliable and proactive

Be passionate and knowledgeable about media and entertainment outlets

The ability to write 2-3 blog posts per week.

SOCIAL MEDIA INTERN
Responsibilities:
The Social Media Intern will assist with Identifying can't-miss social media engagement opportunities for Imagine This, including local/national community awareness days, film and media-related news, etc.

Create content related to women filmmakers and storytellers for all social media platforms.

Organically increase engagement. Schedule and publish social media content that is designed to engage users and create an interactive relationship

Develop an overall social media strategy to help drive engagement and increase followers
-
Engage with Imagine This community via social networking sites.

Assist in the day-to-day management of Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, including content creation, copywriting, social planning, and community management
Qualifications:

What You'll Learn:
ITWIFF offers our interns the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in an art and film festival organization; develop skills in programming, social media, content creation, marketing and PR, email marketing, and project management; and gain exposure to the independent film industry. Though unpaid, this is an excellent opportunity to participate in the process of an international film festival and the opportunity to network with industry leaders. University credit hours are available to qualified candidates.
