OUR MISSION
Imagine This Women's Film Festival is dedicated to providing women and non-binary storytellers and filmmakers a platform to encourage and develop creative projects by women. With Imagine This Women's International Film Festival and Girl Power Film + Media Summit, Imagine This aims to amplify and empower independent and aspiring women filmmakers from around the world. Imagine This goal is to support women by sharing their work with the public, promoting equal opportunities for BIPOC women and the LGBTQIA+ community while providing educational support and professional development, and serving as a resource information network.

Celebrating 8 years, Imagine This Women’s Film Festival and Girl Power Film + Media Summit has screened over 580 films curated from 4,600 submissions from women and non-binary filmmakers; hosted 50 Screenplay table reads selected from more than 300 submissions; hosted more than 100 panels, masterclasses, and special events; and given away over $25,000 in in-donations and cash prizes.

NEW INITIATIVES:

Our newest initiative is the Imagine This Finishing Fund - a grant to help first-time BIPOC Women and LGBTQIA+ filmmakers to help finish their projects. Grants will be given to BIPOC women and LGBTQIA+ filmmakers working in both short and long formats.
